Re: Sample

Hi Kash,

Welcome to the fourm.

There are different techniques depending on what you want to achieve. What sounds do you want to chop from a song? What kind of music are you making?

The simplest way is to:
1) grab a audio editor (Wavosaur, Image Line Edison, Adobe Audition etc),
2) load your song, chop out the sections of interest,
3) load into a sampler.

Different tools will let you work with your samples in different ways.

Re: Sample

Sorry for the slow reply Kash Meer. I just saw this post.

Save the slices as wave files on your hard disk. Load those samples into Grace as you would normally.

You can drag and drop multiple samples from Windows Explorer at once. Just take note of the order you select the samples in, as that determines which key they end up on.
